He went to MT. Carmel High School which is in Chiago. He played for Kentucky in college. He was a good pick for the Celtics after seeing how he shined in Kentucky there was no resisting. He is one of the best forwards in the league. How did he shine in Kentucky with the wildcats. He was the second leading in rebounding for the Wildcats and was averaging 15.2 points a game his sophomore season. He was honored by being named the All-Sec First Team and the MVP of the All Sec Tournament. He played in all of his games and started most of them. He was the cool guy on the court with his awesome Wildcats. He was not just a player he was an outstanding player. He was picked to the Celtics in the 1996 NBA Draft. He had not problem on his new Celtics team being named to the All-Rookie first team. By his second year as a professional basketball player he was proving to his coach that he was the best draft pick of his class. Larry Bird holds the record for the most points scored in Celtic history but by the second year Walker was already in second with 1,435 points compared to Larry Bird's 1,745. He was just of the verge of becoming even better. Antoine was one of two players to be drafted in the 1996 draft and play in the 1998 All Star Game. He was a reserve after being in the top three power forwards in most categories. He was named a starter in the 2000 All Star Game. He is know for his abilities to play anywhere on the floor and to do it well. He was traded to the Dallas Mavericks along with Tony Delk in exchange for Raef LaFrentz, Jiri Welsch, Chris Mills and the Mavericks first round selection in the 2004 NBA Draft on 10/20/03.
