Glen Anthony Rice was born May 28, 1967 in Flint, Michigan. He is 6 feet 8 inches tall
and 220 pounds. He played for North Western Community in high school and Michigan in college.
While he played for Michigan he was one of the stars on the team. He lead them to the 1989
NCAA Championship and won MVP of the final four. Glen Rice is the leading scorer for Big Ten
history with 2,442 points and while he was in the NCAA Tournament. He averaged 30.7 points
a game. While he was a rookie in Miami he made the All-Rookie second team. He played an
important role while in Miami. He was the MVP for back to back seasons. He won the Long Distance
award in the shootout, in the All-Star weekend. Later he was traded the New Orleans Hornets.
He was getting an average of 34 points a game. He was named All-NBA second team for his efforts.
He was on the All-NBA third team after leading his team to the second round of the playoffs.
Losing to the Chicago Bulls in the second round. He led the league in 3 point shooting percentage
with 47.1 percent. He was then traded again this time to the New York Knicks. After a year he was then
again traded this time to the Houston Rockets along with Mugges Bogues. After he played for Houton for
awhile he was traded to the L.A. Clippers.
