Jalen Rose was born on January 30, 1973, in Detroit Michigan. He went to Michigan for college.
Jalen was picked in the first round, thirteenth pick by the Denver Nuggets. In the year of 1996
he was traded to the Indiana Pacers. Now he plays for the Tronto Raptors. Jalen Rose went High
School at South Western Detroit Michigan. He got alot of his talent from his dad. His dad also
played in the NBA. In High school he was named to the McDonald's All-American
Senior. He played on two Championship teams at Southwestern High School. Southwestern was named the
best team in the nation by USA Today Magazine, in 1991. While playing for Michigan Jalen Rose
played as a part of the fab five. He set the freshman scoring record with 597 points. The more
he played the better he got until he had cruised to the top, reaching the NBA. Just recently
Jalen Rose was involved in a 6 man trade. He was traded from the Chicago Bulls to his new team where
he will rock with NBA star Vince Carter on the Tronto Raptors.
